She needs to wake up minty. All that junk is no good at all. Nothing wrong with the Indian and Chinese, occasionally, as a treat,but the fizzy and pizza not so good. Can't beat home cooked healthy recipes though.

WBM with respect its no good saying someone needs to wake up when it comes to food.
We need food to survive, with someone addicted to booze you can removed it the same with someone addicted to drugs or cigarettes.
But you can't do that with food!
I have been in the same position as your friend Minty, and I wish I had done something when I was only 5 or 6 stones overweight.

If I am honest it does not sound like a balloon is the way to go as it is a temporary fix and it sounds like she will go back to her old habbits.
What about a band? She has fills in the band to increase her resistance to food but can decrease it if she needs to.
Tell her to seek a 2nd opinion before going through with it.

No, Ha! The fairies have had several trips to fairy hospital already, their wings keep coming off!! Was a good idea at the time, Ill get it done, managed to get some green grass looking carpet, think it was being sold for what you would use on a balcony, only cheap.

ALDI was selling green matting/grass.....fairy hospital sounds nice !!

That's where I got it from Murray. Fairy hospital is a tube of superglue recuperating on the windowsill. Got to get going, stuff to do. Let me know what's happening with you and yours x
