Why on earth should you? At the time you were there there was no war, no danger and you were no different from all the Civvies. The joy about the UK's Armed Forces is that we don't hand out medals like confettii, only when it gets a bit gritty.

You will need to check out the MOD OP TELIC medal information, I had a look earlier and it looks like you will not get one, mates of mine who were in Iraq with me(While us Brits were still getting killed) after Aug 10th will not get one either,now thats wrong!.
