Getting Decorators Chalk Out Of Your Hair

I've managed to get some decorators chalk in my hair. I've had a look online, and it seems using baby oil and vinager is the best way to get it out. As i don't have any baby oil, do you think that cooking oil will work the same?

Cooking oil will be fine - however when you do get to the point of shampooing your hair apply the shampoo before water to cut through any oil residue.

Yes, it does help.

Years of experience removing all matter of gums,gunk,paint etc from hair.

Never heard of decorator's chalk but can distinctly remember my mother having a piece of tailor's chalk.

I thought Khaleesi meant Tailor's chalk at firsttoo.

Now the strange look i got when i asked someone in b and q where the decorators chalk is makes sence lol.

Thank you so much lynne, the cooking oil worked a treat and i only had to shampoo twice to get the oil out, after following your shampoo before water tip :) x
