Jeremy Corbyn Is Not Rich (According To Jeremy Corbyn).
Jeremy Corbyn has said he is not rich, even though he earns £137k a year and has a pension pot of £1.6m, and yet Labour plan to increase the tax on the "rich" earning over £80k a year.

Does Labour's definition of rich only apply to those earning over £80k who are not part of their front bench?

" - Show me where? All we've been saying is that JC says he's not "rich" but £80k is "rich" so which is it? As it happens I agree £80k is peanuts, no where near "rich".
TTT, you still appear to be under the misapprehension that the word, 'rich', has only one possible definition, whereas it is flexible in exactly the same way as 'tall' is when considered by a midget and a basketball-player.
Thus, Mr Corbyn is perfectly free to consider himself to be 'rich' with a salary over £80,000 and doubtless would be happy to pay the extra tax he proposes himself. On the other hand, he would probably feel he is not 'rich' when he dreams of spending all summer holidaying on Mustique!

Mikey is conspicuous by his absence here I note.
Anyway.....I posted on here almost a year ago that Corbyn is a Champagne Socialist. He's not 'rich' by comparison with business leaders (you know, the ones he wants to penalise for doing well and showing initiative) but I think he's done better out of politics than he would have in any other walk of life. Not saying much tho that, is it.
