What are the little things that make your day happier?

For me the top three are:
Seeing your ex with her new girlfriend and realising you are MUCH prettier than her
Seeing it is pouring with rain and getting yourself all ready for the soaking when the rain stops just as you get out the door
Finally getting a kit kat bar where one of the pieces is solid chocolate eventhough you could have bought a solid chocolate bar in the first place.

my nano ipod, which is tiny, makes my day better.

- Driving past the Emirates Stadium on my way home from work even though its 10 minutes out of my way.

- Meeting up with the boys.

- Being silly with the mrs Tall

....when you think you are skint, but then you find your emergency tenner you stashed yonks ago and had forgotten all about it....


...you trudge off to work on a monday morning and , find out your boss has a weeks holiday...


....realising that next door's cat loves me more than it loves it's owner....

hearing torrential wind and rain on the windows and roof, and realising you don't have to get out from under your snuggly duvet for another 3 hours.

coming in from the cold and changing into freshly tumble dried pyjamas.

thinking a jar of something is more or less empty, but risking trying to fill your toast with the scrapings - and managing it.

wakin up really early on sat. mornin, realisin its sat mornin.and havin bf. on one side of the bed and pooch(the dog!) on the other. My kids tellin me they love me.and sun bunnyin in all this glorious weather.

The things that make a poor old Biddy like me happy are the fact that my hair was OK this morning.and my weight is steady!
That my beloved brother has been round today for a chat and a cup of tea.Mind you ..he does that most days!!
That my great great nephew phoned me up to tell me about the trouble he got into at school today.
That I have just had a lovely dinner.
That MR.S: and my son are enjoying the footaball at the moment and that people are being nice to one another on the old AB.

seeing my little girls face when she wakes up in the morning
when she gives me cuddles and tells me she loves me
which is most of the day
just waking up in the morning knowing my family mean the world to me

Knowing that after a long, hard day at work, I have a nice inviting bed and my laptop to come home too.
