how much did your wedding dress cost?

Mine was £10.00 in the sale. (1978)
I still have it and it just about fits, if I breathe in. :-)

I'm not married yet but if I do get married I'll be making my own- so excluding charging myself for my own labour I'd say it will come in relatively cheaply, depending on which fabrics I like when I see them :)
new(ish) idea here

Should have added that for last wedding (and I mean that!) in Feb. 2013, I haunted the sales in York (had to live there for 3 weeks before wedding) and emerged with a lovely silky, shimmery grey skirt and loose jacket (Italian designer). Snag - they were cheap because skirt was much larger size than jacket, fortunately I had scissors, needle and thread. :)
Think it was £40 all-told.
I made mine @ £10 white lace over satin. £40k for 2+hrs wear is crazy by Pippa.
