Hi, don't worry , your dog will not forget you. I have had dogs for over 60 years and never had this happen, and I have been away for longer than 2 weeks. Also Dogs have no conception of time. That is why you get the same type of welcome if you have been out for hour as you get if you have been out of the house all day. Enjoy your holiday.
I had my sons staffie when he went to Australia for nearly 5 weeks . When my son walked in the dog just greeted him like any other time when he had been here for a day .
Enjoy your holiday .

Your dog won't forget you, you will get the same greeting after 2 weeks as you would after 2 hours. They just like you.
Your dog won't worry and you shouldn't either. You will miss it though. I couldn't go away for more than two weeks. That is my optimum time. Then, I want to go back to my dog and my home.
"Stick" don't have a guilt trip. If you are happy with who is caring for your dog, your dog will adapt. Our gulp was when the people who cared for our dog came to visit 12 months after. She went mental and made more fuss of them than she does when we come "home". Haha, they still tease us, and the work colleague who looked after her 8 years ago still gets bowled over when she visits. Have a good holiday.
Dogs don't forget people.
Togo that happens with my daughters dog when he goes to the kennels he goes mental when he sees the lady that walks him . Breadstick I hope who have answered you has helped . Natural to worry but he will be fine .
