Though he was terrific, especially as Ada and in Corrie. A little coverage about him on the TV today would be a nice break from the election.

Think he played a former theatrical agent who had acted for Rita during her club singing days and ended up as landlord of the Rovers with Bet before skipped abroad. Something like that.
