I've got really bored following a few 'intheknow' on Twitter who were going to nail Trump within weeks.

Is it worth investing some time following this story

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2017/jun/01/nigel-farage-is-person-of-interest-in-fbi-investigation-into-trump-and-russia

How many months will this go on for ... or will they nail him within weeks?

I'd like to know who these 'sources' are.
You have to laugh. To class Farage as a shadowy, scheming Machiavelli, when he is probably the most open man on the planet, is frankly risible.
well slap my plaster with the morning star, a lefty paper is attacking Trump and Farage! PMSL
does seem pretty unlikely there is anything to this story.
I didn't think this was news. And Farage and Assange are known to go way back. The latter is almost certainly now helping the Kremlin, tho whether actively or in the "useful idiot" category is unclear.
Extradition to a sink hole in the Everglades would be appropriate, the FBI and CIA to dispatch their beloved President there for a summit or is that a nadir?
"Farage has not been accused of wrongdoing and is not a suspect or a target of the US investigation." But he clearly knows those suspected of wrongdoing and so would be of interest in case he knew something. I doubt anyone in the FBI is interested in "nailing" Farage.
As for Trump, he's more interested in holding the world to ransom in order to please the climate change deniers. The sooner he's persuaded otherwise the better; but if he's impeached, is Pence a better bet anyway ?
even if he is impeached, he'll not be removed from office, look up your history.
Before Nixon was impeached he chose to resign, but many believed the trial would have resulted in him being removed from office anyway.
