....in the rain the first person I speak to says......Ahhh......you should have been here last week......you could have fried an egg on the paving slabs.....

Still, it's a lovely evening now......good journey and beautiful drive through Ireland......I say it every year but I'm always stunned at how clean and litter free this country is......and driving on these roads is a treat....

It would be fantastic to cycle across Ireland......so easy and safe......but there are so many pubs between Dublin and Westport.....and the Guinness being so good I'd probably be either arrested or accidentally join a religious order by the time I hit Roscommon.....

Great apartment....top floor so I'm off to sit in the hole in the roof and gaze over Clew Bay........with wine....... :-)

It is indeed a beautiful country, and indeed clean. The people are friendly and it's the 'proper' Guinness, not the stuff you get here. The Tullamore Dew is excellent too. :o}

Apart from Monday and Tuesday morning weather has been great. Been to lots of places, Canterbury, sandwich

I was getting a bit down on the drive yesterday, Boaty... I know that my drive home with include the filth and rubbish thrown onto the A14......breaks my heart to have to drive through such mess....

Litter picking in our town is soul destroying now....we have more traffic because of a main road closure and it seems to have doubled the litter.....

Ummmm...you go the week before me next time...the sun will shine..... ;-)

It'd be good for you NoM......Ireland relaxes you....you just slow down and the happiness is so infectious......that'd be a good reason for and AB outing to Ireland.... ;-)
