I hope no one minds me posting this here, but it’s a truly horrendous story and a dreadful situation for this family to be in. If you can help please do – and if you have a Facebook account or can think of any other way of sharing the story, please share.

Everything that can be done should be done to bring them to the family who will care for them and raise them well.....their dad's family.....x

I know, Hc.....but your comment was answered......and the answer sits fine with me......we are all different....
I just can't imagine two happy little children having their lives changed in an instant in this horrific way....
And I'm soft enough to think....you know.....we've been told about this now and we can help.....just a little....x

I know, Naomi......I read all your link.
Apart from not wishing the mother to have anything to do with the children I wouldn't be happy to think of them with any of her family......the brother took the children....they are being used now as a bargaining tool.
They need to be brought to their grandparents whether or not they are British or orphans......x

im also really confused about the situation - the children are chinese and have lived in china ?all their life. How will coming here and living with a relative be any better than staying there and living with a relative? Surely bringing them to the uk will be incredibly scary and not the same culture or language etc. What a horrible situation, but if there is going to be a custody battle, even if he wins, will the uk accept them?
erm sorry losing one parent makes you an orphan
"Orphan definition, a child who has lost both parents through death, or, less commonly, one parent" - I think it might have been loosened to make entry to orphanages easier
why is it so expensive ? it sounds as tho wei wei fu's family is trying to sell the kids to the English - and that is OK by the chinese family so long as the price is right - with a lot of hand wringing from the English side
