Can't remember the title of a book!

Somebody recommended a book to me and told me what it was about and did give me the title, but I've plum forgotten it and all I remember is that the story is about a man who gets transformed into a beetle and the whole book is about his experiences etc. Sounds riveting I know, but I have it on good authority that it is a really good read, and wondered if this rang any bells with anyone? I thought it might be called Transformation, but can't find anything anywhere so it probably isn't! Any help would be gratefully received! Thanks!
