It's coming up to 20 years since Diana Princess of Wales passed away and yet the newspapers are still dragging up stories about her and how unhappy she was during her marriage. I don't know if William and Harry are shielded from this as it must be very upsetting for them. Do you think it's time the newspapers stop reporting on this?

Yes, I think it's time to stop. I was a big fan of Diana and was very sad when she died so young and left her sons behind, but maybe the papers are digging it up again because it's her 20th anniversary. I guess some will still read it, I won't.
The royals rely on being talked about, for better or worse. If royal news stopped selling papers, it would be a sign they'd finally become irrelevant.

But as Pixie says, this has been sparked by William and Harry speaking up.
By her hysterical act of throwing herself downstairs while pregnant with William, it could have altered history.
AOG - //By her hysterical act of throwing herself downstairs while pregnant with William, it could have altered history. //

Indeed - but I doubt she had 'history' on her mind at the time!
