Looks like between hard Brexit and soft Brexit we are not having a Brexit .So what word will replace Brexit and mean we are staying . PLUS ( please let us stay ) maybe .

Please don't encourage the naysayers.
There is no reason to believe that the government is going to change tack. There is no chance that we won't leave on paper, the only thing is to not encourage the Brexit haters to yell and shout to convince foolish folk we will or should go soft (in the head).
The more time goes on, the more I feel we will never leave !

Nice if true. But in any case it is surely common sense that a bad deal is the worse situation, even if there was a short term cost involved in not getting a deal. You continue to pay for the bad deal year on year probably both financially and more to the point, in terms of being dictated to.
