How many of you throw away the pair of socks when the toe on one starts to get a hole in it? myself, I do.

If you swop them on your feet then you find what was annoying allowing a big toe to poke through on the one foot, ends up unnoticeable because it's centrally placed on the other foot. So are good for another period.
With luck they'll be ok until the washing has shrunk them and they're near impossible to get on and off. (Oh for the good old days when reasonably prices socks lasted because they were quality made and fit for purpose.)
