Estimate the miles per gallon you will get taking account of speed and traffic conditions. Maybe 40mpg which would need 15 gallons.
Then depends on cost of petrol. petrol may vary from 111p -130p per litre in UK. Using 115p that is £5.23 per gallon that's about £78

I can't find a 1.6 diesel - is it 1.7 diesel??
Anyway. they'll all be pretty much the same - the fuel capacity is 14.5 gallons.
As already said. lots of factors can influence what mpg you're gong to get, so I'll assume 40 mpg. You'll need 15 gallons to do 600 miles. so making another assumption of £1.15 per litre (= £5.2279 per gallon), making a total cost of £78.42 .... so .... yea .... same as what FF said :)
Just to show how the cost of diesel would influence the total cost:
£1.20 per litre = total cost of £81.83
£1.25 per litre = total cost of £85.24
£1.30 per litre = total cost of 88.65
