Who loves the heat?

I hate it. Love it on holidays but not landlocked heat. No breeze to cool us down.
even my wrists are sweating and my glasses keep falling off my face.

I am fortunate that my house is well insulated and has a relatively static temp. We also have a heat recovery and ventilation system which helps regulate the indoor temp. The front of the house doesn't have any large windows so when the sun moves round in the afternoon it is tolerable and enables me to open up the back of the house to get some breeze in, although today it seems to be completely still :-(

I'm not heading into the garden though!

I love it as long as I'm on a beach. I'm stuck in an office with only an open window to cool it, it's one of the 3 days a year that I wear a summer dress to work and I'm still just dripping.

I don't mind it although feel a bit sluggish (Lethargic) and can't muster the energy to go shopping, so beer and chill at Bro's for a bit flitting in and out of the Sun although the warmth can't be escaped.

I live by the sea, so when the wind is going it's not too hot here. Today there's no wind so will be hot outside.
I'm at work in an airconned room, so quite comfortable now. I don't know what it's like in my house. My poor tomatoes in my conservatory will be struggling.

Houses in Kerry aren't designed to cope with excess heat - that would be like designing houses in the Sahara to cope with snow ... the light well that is designed to capture every bit of the occasional heat and sunshine is functioning all too effectively.

So it's very, very hot here, inside and out ... we are currently drawing straws as to who has to walk to the shop to buy some more white wine and fruit beer.

Fortunately the toilet roll stocks are holding out - but it's my turn to cook tonight and I fancy a curry ...

Kinky....and weird were not in the sentence Dave spouted when I came back with salad, BM.......lots of bloodys were....but the suggestions on how I could serve the "green carp" were verging on kinky..... ;-)
