Boosting Internet Signal

Hi A/bs My daughter has moved in next door so I gave up my own internet connection so I could share hers alas the signal is not so strong as I am distant from the router. My question is there anything I can purchase to boost the signal strength ?? Thank you

A better Router ?
One can get WiFi extenders but I'm unsure how good they are between houses. Maybe she could move her router as close to your house as possible ? Or maybe drop a cable between the two of you ?

Go to your nearest Maplins, and talk to them about Wireless Extenders.
We have one and it's brilliant.
It plugs in to your household electrical circuit and uses that as a booster.

The only concern is whether both houses are on the same phase. But probably worth a try.

Yes, get her to move the router as close as possible to your computer . The other side of the adjoining wall for her router and your computer at the same place on your side of the wall should work .
