Especially influenza. That virus has evolved so many times ( notably Spanish flu, bird flu, etc) and so quickly that it is now a global threat. According to very recent science, ( this month) the influenza virus is only two changes away from becoming a new and lethal pandemic. You can choose to believe that those changes will not happen, because after all, evolution is a mad scientist's fairytale, isn't it, or that they will, and you had better accept all the vaccines you are offered in the hope of dodging it.
