I has been reported that masses of people converged on an overturn fuel tanker, so as to collect free petrol and someone dropped a lit cigarette.

there was a major explosion a few years ago in Nigeria when they punched a hole through a pipeline and stole fuel whilst smoking. Not too bright eh?

There is no doubt what they were doing was wrong and of course if it transpires a cigarette was to blame also very ill thought out.

None of us know how we would act if under similar pressure, stand and watch the fuel soak into the ground?
