The Recorder ! My Ears!

My neighbours young son has decided to learn to play the recorder. He has decided to practise every day after school - in the garden!! My poor ears are bleeding......... Who on earth decided that this 'instrument' sounded good??
( and yes I did used to play it too lol)

My daughter played the recorder and my son played the violin. It kept the cats out of my garden :-)

Just a little experiment in mind reading, Smowball. Think of the tunes you were taught to play and i'll try and guess at least one. Concentrate, now, think really hard. The only thing i'm getting is 'London's Burning'!!

Went to a village fete the other week and there was a recital by a group of recorder players - have to say it actually sounded pretty good although I have always hated the sound of them.
