When do I have to give the tenants all the evidence I am going to be using?

In Scotland, if Sheriff grant eviction notice, then tenants has between 6 - 8 weeks to move

Doh, I've just reviewed the possession claim and the hearing is set for 11th August and I am away on holiday that whole week.

Mind you I thought it would be quicker than six and a half weeks. They will owe even more by then because you can bet your bottom dollar they won't pay a penny.

In fact my friend saw her posting on a Facebook tenant finder page and she was talking to a new LL about renting from her. when the LL said she would need to know where she was now and contact her present LL she said I had died.!! So she is not above telling a fib or two... well a whole sackfull but who's counting.

Any chance you could get someone to represent you at Court?
I'd willingly do it but have not got the legal expertise required.

it has been a long time hasnt it? and your tenants have played disgracefully on your natural shyness and reluctance

If it has been listed for 11 Aug you should get court directions OR they are already in the guff you have already have

anyway relying in memory - can be less than 14 d before the hearing.
But you know - now is OK
The modern idea is everyone knows the details of each others case and the judge does the law bit. Does shorten things

God this is Sod's law I simply can't change the holiday. Am I allowed to send a representative or ask for the date to be changed or is it that's the date and that's it?

I am still cack scared it will all go pear shaped and I will be lumbered with them not paying rent forever.

I would, perhaps just out of spite so won't, like to post her picture on the Facebook accommodation finders sites she is signed up to. I wouldn't like some other LL to be saddled with her. It might be viewed as stalking though .
