I thought it odd that the cameras followed the Irish bloke, and interviewed him many times after he was bailed, where he as good as said, he was responsible for GBH, with a grin on his face.

Yet walked free from court, more or less, for lack of evidence, even though the police had CCTV footage of him?

Why wasn't the landlords wife prosecuted for lying, that she didn't know him, but was seen tailing to him for 15 minutes?

I thought that was strange as well, he admetted guilt in the build up to the case but pleaded not guilty in court, he basically got away with it, a joke of a sentence for a vicious attack.
Should read 'admitted'!
Totally agree, bit of a farce really ..... !
I bet Uncle John's caravan was set alight soon after
Sorry to butt in, but could someone tell me what happened at the end please? I had recorded it but it cut off about 5 minutes from the end. Did he get found guilty?
No, he got away with the brutal attack, and was laughing when he left court.
Obviously a good expensive lawyer ?
