Without knowing the details, my guess would be that countries that have more catching up to do on standards generally will get longer to complete the process, the aim being for all countries ultimately to reach a similarly advanced/unified state. This would apply to countries such as Romania and...........the UK, except that the UK will now wheel off and retain its low standards where it chooses/refuses, as is its right and was foreseen in the treaties.
Ah the joys of being in the EU.
Romanians come here to avoid being sent to prion in Romania for violent burglary.
They commit crimes here but we cant send them back to Romania as their cells are too small.
So we are now stuck with having to pay the cost of keeping them in prison.
When they get out they will probably go to court here and say they have to stay in the UK as there are not enough rich people to rob from in Romania.
And they will probably get legal aid for that case was well.
Seems we bend over more and more to help the criminals.

can we not charge romania for their upkeep and all legal costs they have incurred, if you think about it the eu club are supposed to share in all things? seems the uk shares more than anyone in the club let alone the world, nhs being abused by non payers then flying off after treatment, illegals not deported criminal or otherwise, seems like a giant legal ripoff the taxpayers, the rich seem immune to it all as they do not use public services, but governments let it all slide till were a broken society financially..but they can fly off to sunnier climes...
