Double Glazing Windows Misted
10 Answers
At my property I have a number of double glazed window units that are misted, some worse than others. Is it possible to get a relatively "cheap fix" by getting just the glass units replaced or will a window specialist want to sell me complete new windows? What's my best course of action?

They replaced just the glass unit on one side of our patio doors. The job was completed professionally and the cost was less than other proprietary companies.
I believe that it is a "franchise" business but although I cannot speak for the branch nearest to you (if there is one) I have no reason to believe that they would not do a competent job. Perhaps it may be worth getting them round to quote?

UPVC is the easiest system to change sealed units in Manta. I think you have been advised on a prior post to have a look at your local glaziers in your local paper small ads. Good start. I asked for the frame material type because some glaziers are liable not to be willing to tackle old alloy frames or timber. ( 6 years with Solaglas)
