I'm Off To The Pub (Shortly)

I'll raise a glass for you lot.
Feel free to do the same, with a toast of your choice.
Some suggestions:
"Good riddance to bad rubbish"
"The king is dead! Long live the queen!"
"Well now that's done: and I'm glad it's over"
"so long, and thanks for all the fish" (corrected)
(Other suggestions welcome!)
I am not sure which one I will be using just yet! I might have enough glasses to try them all out.

I've been to 17 pubs in Kettering so far and I still haven't found the ruddy party :(
It's getting harder as time goes on, as I now see two pubs where there should only be one but I'm determined to buy the (old) Ed a drink - and then invoice him for the cost of the other 17 I've had to buy while looking for him ;-)
Good luck for the future, anyway, Ed!

Well you should have let me know, Chris......the best Kettering party tonight was in The Lighthouse....Me...Sunny-Dave and the most fantastic group of Irish musicians.....the Guinness was flowing...the craic was great....the dancer and fiddle player were beautiful....there was even a ginger banjo player from my home town.....you'd have loved it......x
