What a tragic news item. I feel sure thePolice will trace the owner of the car and, if he/she were not driving it, the owner will have to identify who possibly could have been.
It is to be hoped that those in Hospital Do Not have life threatening injuries.
He's handed himself in to the police now.hope to God none of the victims are people my son knows, not that makes it any less of a tragedy.it just hits home harder when you know the people involved.
It's being said that the group were walking down the middle of the road in the dark, which I believe as that road has really high grass verges each side which are too steep to walk on, but he should have still seen them.
If he wasn't speeding or drunk/drugged then yes, he should have seen them. Good news that he has handed himself in Smowball. It always feels worse when it's more or less on your own doorstep.Hope the others make a full recovery.
