Battery Charger For A Modern Car.
I need a battery charger for a 2015 Nissan Qashqai that I can safely use without disconnecting the battery terminals.
I've heard that if I use a standard trickle charger it could fry the ECU or other sensitive electronic components.
Any suggestions ?
Cheers.

A conventional high-power charger (the sort you'd use to charge a flat battery) really needs the battery isolated from the car's electronics...so you'd need to disconnect.
Oh, and if your car has "stop-start", it has a different sort of battery and needs an even more sophisticated "smart" charger.

Further to the above....the £25 maintenance charger here would be fine UNLESS you have "stop-start"....then it's a lot more (as you can see!)
