To answer the OP no. They will not please everyone.

It should be a case of the best person for the job but if they have anything about them they won't touch it with a barge pole.

They will be metaphorical lynched at the earliest opportunity. No one will believe the result and scream and should 'old boys cover-up' before the ink is even dry.
