Nt Ducksie x, nt all.
Yodel's couriers are all self-employed, working for a very small fee per delivery. Most of them are reliable and conscientious but, as with any such business, there will always be a few people who are downright dishonest (i.e. they'll steal parcels) or, more often, prepared to cut corners in order not to lose out on pay.

e.g. a courier might only get paid the full fee for a delivery if it's there by 5pm on a Monday. He realises that he can't make it on time, so he signs for the delivery himself and then actually delivers the parcel when he's passing the address a few days later.
I also had a similar problem my address is 77 it had been delivered to 11 as that was what the written address looked like.
Another time I sent an item to 1b it was delivered and signed for at 16 in the same street . Took 3 weeks to sort that one out!
Night twr, sorry your parcel went awol :(
I'm 11 Eddie, promise, I never got your parcel ;)
Even worse, the surname of the people at 1b and at 16 was the same!
I had that company deliver a half pig to me that needed to be delivered withing 24 hours - when he tried to deliver it after 4 days I refused to accept it and made him take the dripping honking mess back to his van.
I will never use them again.
Oh what are the chances of that Eddie

I'm not familiar with the company so can't really comment, I don't know how he kept the half pig for 4 days, euwww it would have been my first item to get delivered that day, to be sure it wouldn't smell and was refrigerated in time, I think you did the right thing Quoi
ducksie It was in a refrigerated box with ice - was only good to eat for the first 24 hours but I think it wouldnt have started smelling till day 4. Maybe that reminded him that he hadnt delivered it.

The delivery date was 01/07/2017 (Saturday), you then say you were in on Monday, sorry but don't see the connection?
probably what happened Quoi, like I said, I'm not familiar with the company, didn't know they did refrigerated compartments
yes I can
he wondered about the objaaay
and was told it had been signed for
and then they said oo no we still have it -
odd I agree

postie might have

one signed for a summons for me
and I said - "there is one problem - I am not the fella on the summons." we sort of smoothed it - the postie unsigned it or something
I had a problem with couriers. Parcel due to be delivered. Never arrived, chased it up. They said it was delivered to a house that wasn't mine.
Was it signed for I asked. No they eventually said. Driver left it on the dustbin at the front of the house as no one in.
You guessed it, it was bin day. Bin men took it away.
We did get a replacement a few days later though.
Hi TWR. You might consider leaving a review of the courier on the Trust Pilot website. Within the realms of accuracy you can vent your spleen on line for others to see. I have posted on Trust Pilot in glowing terms for one firm and total negative criticism of another who had steadfastly refused to resolve my complaint with them despite phone calls, emails and recorded delivery letters. It didn't half make me feel better and it galvanised the firm to a resolution not to mention a £25 compensation cheque! Good luck whatever you decide to do.
