A good holiday read??
7 Answers
Off on my hols soon and am looking for suggestions for a good book to take.
I have bought 'The Kite Runner' but not so sure now.
I'm looking for a page turner but nothing too heavy - Hey! I'm on my hols.
If it helps, I'm female in late (very late!) 30's.
Thanks.

Start at the begining with One for the Money, then Two for the Dough - helpfully all titles are numbered so you know which order to read them - you can read them out of sequence but they are better if you read them in order. Enjoy your hols!

As mentioned already it depends what you'd go for but for a holiday read that isn't too deep but still exciting try Martina Cole, she has loads of books out, and I believe that some of them were televised.
Some of my favourites are as follows though, you could look them up on Amazon to see if you'd like them:
Brick Lane - Monica Ali
Memoirs of a Geisha - Arthur Golden
Lovely Bones - Alice Sebold (fantastic read!!)
To Kill a Mockingbird - Harper Lee
