Childrens time slip story

Can anyone tell me the name of a childrens book that I've been trying to track down.? I read it in the late 1970s/early 1980s. The central character was a young girl who moved to an old house (Edwardian or victorian I think) and in the attic was an old mirror that she could look in and be transported back to the same house but like a 100 years before. Whilst back in time she met up with a young girl that lived there during that period. I remember one time she got stuck there and had to look in a pond or fountain or something to get back! Thanks

...or possibly one of the books by Pamela Sykes (Mirror of Danger, Lucy Beware!) used as the basis for a late 70s TV series "Come Back , Lucy".

Many, many thanks to everyone that's responded. After doing a quick google search of all your suggested titles, I have a feeling that it might be Come Back, Lucy that I'm thinking of, although I won't know for definite until I can find a copy

I never realised that there could be so many similar stories out there!
