Y'know the tree falling in a forest thing?
I wonder, if an item appears on BBC online and Mikey doesn't post it as a link on Answerbank, does it cease to exist? :)
Dougie...having re-read your post, I realise that you are referring to my use of the Beeb website ! The reason that I tend to use the Beeb website is because ::: 1....I trust the Beeb to get it right 2....Its a very well laid-our site and easy to navigate 3....I don't have access to the DM website ( ! )
I suspect you may be referring to the fact that the Beeb will be publishing the salaries of some of its presenters. This was discussed earlier this morning on the "Today Programme" and the presenter, ( whose name escapes me) was very feisty with the BBC Executive that she was interviewing.

What like yesterday on R4?
John Humphreys(yes him again) tells us that we need to be very concerned that inflation is rising and that figures due for release will show it has risen to 3%, due to the Brexit effect.
Just afterwards ONS released figures to show that inflation had fallen from 2.9% to 2.6% since May. The biggest monthly fall in inflation since Feb. 2015. More than a year before the EU referendum. Meehh.
British Biased Corporation strategy.... Blame any bad economic snippet on Brexit or savage Tory cuts, whilst good economic news is ignored or no mention of Brexit unless a spin can be done.
