I Wanted To Change My Avatar Picture, Having Problems, Need Help.

I have forgotten my password for word press .com, each time I ask to get a new password I get sent an e-mail which says "click here" but nothing happens when I click, is there another way around this ??? please help if you can, I am tearing my hair out. xxx

When a 'click here' link fails to work in a web page it's often because of an incompatibility between the browser you're using and that particular web page. So, if you're accessing your email via a web browser (rather than a dedicated email client), try using a different browser. You might find that the link then works.

Alternatively, create a new email address (if you've not already got a second one to use), come to AB, click on 'view your profile' and then on 'Edit My Profile'. Enter your new email address in the relevant fields and click 'Submit'. Your current avatar will then disappear and be replaced by the default 'jelly babies'. Then go to Gravatar.com and create a new account, using your new address and the avatar of your choice. Once you're using the same email address for both AB and Gravatar your new avatar will appear here.

Another reason for 'click here' not working is if the email ends up in spam/junk instead of the inbox.

I followed your instructions and have now got a new avatar, thanks to you, just fancied a change, and also learned something new.xxx
