Category Sub Headings

Hi Ed m'love

Any idea why the sub headings are only available intermittently when I use the site, Is it me or are they doing a virtual hokey cokey...in out in out messing it about...?

Does it depend on which device you use to access AB? I get the + sign on both my laptop and tablet but I know the layout is slightly different on iPad ( landscape or portrait) can make a difference in that I get one fewer search boxes, and layout on my phone is totally different.

Since we moved on to the new format I don't look at the sub-headings any more and I don't think I'm the only one. Can't we get rid of them?

I think it would be useful for all categories that have sub headings to having a link to those at the top ff the main page.

A few do already - Sport has a link to Football and Body & Soul has a link to Health.

I don't mind if theya re sometimes not visile as I struggle to see any need for them. Since the AB was rejigged the favoured few topics get almost all the postings - the other topics get very few posts so breaking them down into unused subsections seems pointless

Unfortunately my original Question is still unanswered i.e Why are the Sub-headings not visible most of the time. There are important Posts there which are not accessible unless Sub-headings available to view.
