Veggie Onion Main Course

I am looking for suggestions for veggie recipes where onions are the star of the show!

I have baked them before but has anyone got any other suggestions? Something where they stand out rather than being in something like a soup.

And I'm so pleased that you have replied because I was trying to contact you a few weeks ago - to thank you.
You maybe don't remember but you replied to a few questions that I posted about my mum who had Alzheimers. You were always so very helpful and very, very caring. Mum passed away a few weeks ago but I won't forget your kindness to me - especially when some other answerbankers were, lets just say, less than understanding!

Aw you really were terrific Mamyalynne and helped me out when I was having some real low spots. I never thought that asking a question about proxy voting for mum would have caused some people to be so insensitive!
But our darling Mum passed very peacefully and quietly at home (after successfully casting her vote!) and was pain and distress free, and very content. Again, thankyou.

I have printed off about 8 or 9 recipes that I want to try - though maybe not too many at once because my mother-in-law always tells me that onions can make one . . . how can I say it . . . a little bit windy!!
