My friend, a retired headmaster has been signing mine for years, so yes.
Maybe take your driving license number. That'll show your name, address, and photo.

Thank you, Vulcan....so even a retired teacher could do it?

I know plenty of those......x
Misread the Q..

My local shopkeeper signs for ours. Anyone who holds a license with the council can sign.
Bet you do!!!! ;-)
Question Author
Not quite with you, Ummmm.....I have to photocopy it and get someone to sign the photocopy .....to show it's me.....I think....x
Question Author
Ah...thanks, Ummmm......lots of conflicting information online.....

They retired voluntarily, Sharon....working with me had nothing to do with their retirement.....mostly..... :-)
Gness...anyone who holds a licence to sell alcohol can sign for you. Your local shop or landlord. They just need to give their license number.
I am heart-broken that gness feels the need to be certified......

Am sure that a 'recognised' person can certify various documents, e.g. doctor and or lawyer will probably cost a few bob.
But a licesnsee/teacher can do so as well.
Question Author
Thanks, Ummmm....now....do I know anyone who sells alcohol?........Hmmmmmm ;-)

I'm sure you can flirt with someone.

And they don't charge either, unlike doctors!

Was a bit worried there.
