We went to a well known café that we always use today, I had a simple fry & so did my wife, I drink black Coffee my wife tea, her tea came in a little tea pot and she poured, I noticed the spout was looking dirty & opened the lid, the rim was black & the inside a very dark colour, the waitress came to collect the empty plated & I said, the tea pot was a disgrace, it bleached & in this condition should not have been used, my wife was not pleased by what I'd said, s I right?

I was told never to wash a teapot ( Irish Dad) just rinse it. Just looked and my teapot is a disgrace- but it's staying that way :)
Perhaps it is my imagination but I always think that tea can taste quite bitter from a badly stained pot.
