Just Come Into A Heritance And Need Some Advice On Properties Abroad And Overseas
I've recently come into a large sum of money after an uncle passed away after selling his mega companies and i know nothing about properties as have been a blue collar worker all my life until the inheritance.
Where can i find the price and possibly and make an offer to purchase hashima island in japan as i sense a business opportunity to build and rent there, also adoes anyone know of the same question regarding the maunsell sea forts in the north sea as if refurbished could be turned into secret break aways for the mega rich.
Thanks in advance

Aaah okay, someone told me at the pub that it was an abandoned island so i thought that it would be going cheap and that the location would be great for a business venture.
What about the maunsell sea forts? A little while ago i heard of one of these barricaded forts, a circular building in the sea was bought and the new owners were going to or had already turned it into a unique hotel hence my question.
Is there any sea fort type buildings for sale, how could i find out? Are there any out to sea lighthouses not in use for sale or any small islands which can be developed on? I can remember reading about a small island, i think off indonesia for sale for something like £300'000 immsmc

Much appreciated Hc4361 that is amazing, secluded and has everything i need, in a word, perfect but by the beautiful look of it, it's probably a heritage site
"We understand the extent of ownership to extend to the Lighthouse Keepers Cottages, shared courtyard (with the Light Tower) and remainder of the island, including the 3 ruinous cottages - workshops, walled garden, a further small ruin and walled garden on the southern side and a stone barn on the north side. A lease, signed in 1841, permits the lighthouse to operate from the Island, essentially in perpetuity. Since automation in the late 1960's the lighthouse no longer requires full time staffing, and only the lighthouse and Sighting Tower are maintained by the Northern Lighthouse Board. It is anticipated that the Northern Lighthouse Board and the purchasers will share the use, and future maintenance of the jetty wall."
I'll give them a call tomorrow morning hazard a guess that the 3 ruined cottages can be rebuilt and restored to their former glory keeping in touch with the original building materials on the exterior and i'm not sure how shared buildings operate but i'll guess i'd have to share the profits or hopefully i can buy them out.
