What are some people on?

I'm going out in an hour with the kids so they better move.

Did you see where they went?

Some folk have no consideration for where they park their cars.
They'd be the 1st to moan if you did it to them!
You know what's annoying? When kids are playing in their own driveway with, say, an old car wheel and it runs away from them, denting the door of a car parked across their drive.
Or worse, trying out their new javelin and getting it all wrong. :)
I am liking your thinking Douglas.
Liking it a lot !

LOL Douglas. My two are so crack handed they'd end up either killing themselves or getting our car.

They arrived withthe skip that was delivered next door. I'm sure they'll move when we ask.
if your drive has a dropped kerb its illegal for anyone to block your drive

is it Ivor ?

It is an offence to block a vehicle on a drive, but not to obstruct the drive if nothing is parked on it as it is considered the drives owner/user can park elsewhere if need be.
you can be blocked in..not out up here...been through this time and time again ! grrrrr
it's an offence, but if the lord chancellor takes three weeks to come round and investigate the site it's not going to help your kids much.
Go out and walk round the car then stand and take a couple of photos of it. That worked for me last week, they roared off very quickly after they saw me
bazile
indeed it is illegal to block someone in but not illegal to park across a dropped kerb for access to a driveway if there is no car on it and the white line across the entrance is nothing but decorative so to speak,
What about if there is a car but it is in a garage (that's what they are for)?

A car in a garage, what a novel idea, every property I have lived in has had a garage, can't ever remember putting a car in one tbh. Building materials, chest freezers, gym equipment yes, but not a car.
