yes .....but probably for the better, the shortness of time off the ventilator showing how fragile he was. Grief for all and more than just his family as I would surmise his Ormond Street crew are also bereft.
they, the staff, will also be heart-broken too anne.
I agree, they need a mention and none of the abuse that has come their way nor to the parents either.
I think it's quite sad that the staff at GOSH nursed Charlie 24-7 for his entire life and he was then taken away right at the end to die in a hospice . The GOSH staff should have been there at the end too - they were a major major part of his life.
I think the staff of GOSH were probably there at the end and quite rightly they do a wonderful job. IMO this was more about what the parents wanted in dealing with their grief.
