In the 70's I think, there was a novelty pop record released which had baby gurgling sounds and somewhere in the song the baby says' I dig the beatles' . Anybody remember who the band were or what the song was called ?

I remember one from years ago that started 'My girl babysits for someone on our block.....' that had a baby gurgling on it, some words were 'boogie boogie' from the baby!
It is called 'baby sitting boogie' by Buzz Clifford.
Certainly is.

Well, there you go!
I hadn't a clue....but lovely to see you, Islander.......x

Thank you all for the answers so far....I am not sure this is the one. The one I remember the ' baby' says " I dig the Beakles" as he supposedly can't say Beatles !! Very similar to the one posted .

Dave Cash who had a show on Radio 1 used to play drop-ins recorded by Pat Doodys (Newsreader) 3 year old son during his show and they became very popular with listeners, which led to the single.
