I had mine done in a hotel in Cairo. Trust me, it's not worth it. Just stick to waterproof mascara

This most definitely isn't my specialist field ('cos I'm an ancient fella' with no sense of fashion whatsoever) but a quick look at the reviews on Amazon shows that products branded as 'Julienne' and 'Refectocil' consistently get largely positive reviews.

Of the two, it seems to be Refectocil which has the fewest people awarding it only one or two stars (i.e.almost everyone seems to be satisfied with the product), so perhaps that might be the one to try?

Well , I knew it wasn't good when the guy put a load of dye on a cotton bud and proceeded to dab it all over my eyes and my face. I came out of there feeling very thankful that I still had my sight.

I've never heard of those but most people would use Eyelure. Available everywhere and reasonably OK. I don't do lashes but always use it for brows.

23sj7, i'd always avoid tattoos, cosmetics and dental surgeries if i went to 3rd world hell holes as they don't have rules, laws or insurance!

Because The Answerbank has an annoying feature whereby, when you insert a direct link to Amazon, it's replaced by the words 'Amazon.co.uk User Recommendation'. That, in itself, isn't a problem but, annoyingly, if you try to post two Amazon links in the same answer the second one tends not to appear (with the post being cut short after the first one). So I had to use indirect links to ensure that they'd both show up.

So true but at least there are guidelines, rules and regulations which are usually followed and failing that we have a wonderful law system that would probably see 98% of the foreign workforce thrown in jails.

I've only ever used Eyelure, and find it quite fiddly and messy but it seems that all the others are based on the same method.

If I could be bothered I'd go to a salon to have it done properly, but I hate all that 'beauty shop' vibe.

Bognor or Scunthorpe for a holiday? Shudder... No i prefer abroad but just not having tattoos, surgery or dental treatment there unless i went to somewhere specifically for those treatments but feel free to yourself.
