Holidaying To Aus, Was Asked To Provide A Police Certificate, They Now Want A Subject Access Request, Why Both?
Hi, ive posted on here previously regarding the Police Certificate, i'm visiting Australia hopefully in November,i declared in my visa application that I had a criminal record, albeit one petty crime 17 years ago, i was asked to provide a Police Certificate, which came back as no live trace (criminal record info is held about me but is no longer relevant) because it has come back as No Live Trace they're now saying they require a subject access request, why?
If the information on a Police Certificate is insufficient why ask for one, all this is extremely frustrating, i wish i hadn't bothered, in fact if it wasn't already paid for i'd go to Scarbados (Scarborough) instead, i stole timber and Plastic 17 years ago, i feel like I'm being treated like a serial criminal, i can understand Australia wanted to sift out dangerous criminals and not allow them into the country but i'm far from that as my Police certificate shows with my none relevant criminal record, so very frustrating.
