There is a crossword help site where you can type in a clue and it gives answers.
I have recently discovered that if you page down it also shows questions from the same crossword and gives the answers too i.e. Daily Mail and Express Crusader.
I was doing a puzzle from our local paper. I had one clue I couldn't do, it only needed three letters, it gave the answer. Just out of curiosity I paged down and there were about eight questions from our local papers crossword.
How could this site know about our local paper from one clue?

Many crosswords are syndicated across local newspapers, so the same crossword that you've seen could have been used dozens of times before elsewhere.
