My indicators do not always stay on when set. I have to hold them on . Is this an MOT fail

I'm no expert on MOTs but I would say so. Your car has a fault that could prove dangerous.
Ring the MOT station and ask - if they say they will not fail the car on this fault remind them when you arrive.
Yes, and they must blink between 15 and 60 times per second
Per second? I think not. per minute!
I'd guess that if you have indicators they'll need to work properly.
For an MOT "all". Lights must function properly. A style poser thing years ago was to add spotlights to the front. But not wired up This was a fail
Why not just get the fault fixed?
You have to have them ( which is why hand signs are no longer tested in the driving test ) and they have to work

obvious fail to me ( as standard AB blabber who has never done an MOT)
