Non Bt Line Rental And Broadband

We are with BT for landline and Broadband. Can we get a better deal elsewhere for just Broadband and Line Rental without a landline? Monthly Broadband is £18 and line rental yearly in advance is £205 quite a lot I think. I dont want TV included either as Freeview suits us.

As long as you've not had any form of Sky contract in the past 12 months you can get Sky broadband (inclusive of line rental) for a full year for a total of £134.

Bear in mind though that sometimes it is cheaper to have the phone line as well even if you dont want it due to odd deals. It was like that for me with Virgin, loosing the phone would have cost £3.00 a month extra!

Thanks both of you. Do Sky increases their charges a lot after the first year? Never dealt with them before ... If there is a fault with the line I must admit BT are very quick at finding the fault, customer service is good too, what is Sky's service like?
