Absolutely
Gobsmacked !
"He was so like, you know"
people, commonly news reporters, who say rooves for roofs--and today on a report on the current whaling controversy the reporter kept referring to wales rather than whales
ajmmac most English folk can't differentiate between "W" and "WH" words. English folk pick me up for saying all sorts "folk" "yous" "amn't I" instead of "aren't I" which is not logical.

saying "like" all the time

"me n my m8 loz, like went like robbing in the local like shops like"

Deal with behaviour in a rational fashion - "Can I change it"? 'No'. "Can I accept it"? '....' "Move on". Ca la vie, get over it, find something about it you like!!!
Like it really get on my nerves too like. lol :)
sos instead of sorry and using borrow and lend the wrong way round. I hate it when i hear people saying 'can you borrow me a tenner'

"Ball Park Figure" - I know what it means, but I can't stand hearing it!

lush!
nervs and acctually
Two phrases, actually! "Trust Me" from total strangers, for obvious reasons, and "It's All Good", the key phrase of folks who are going through some sort of re-hab or counseling.......Trust Me! It is NOT "All Good"! Conning yourself will not make it so. Life is TOUGH! Life was MEANT to be Tough! Life NEEDS to ne Tough! It, if one is objective, is all Bad! much more frequently than it will ever be "All Good"!
'no worries'
As has been said, 'like' 'absolutely' and particularly 'anythink' ...it maddens me how many people say anythink, I sometimes wonder why it isn't in the dictionary.
Another one using the description 'troubled' for people out of their heads on drugs. It seems to have no other meaning for news reporters.
Graas instead of the good old Yorkshire grass. Baath instead of bath.
