Went to Bristol for the weekend. Had a fabulous time! Went to the zoo, the harbour, lots of little quirky pubs etc..... but seems I was a tad overzealous when packing to come home and have 'taken' a few items from the room. Such as - all the toiletries, a while flannel, a toilet roll(??), a ceramic soap dish, a very nice beer glass, a note book and pen, a bottle opener, and a hand towel! I have been very bad indeed - I am blaming all the vodka and cokes I had !

Yes I complained about the food on the first day at breakfast. Second day it was exactly the same !

You haven’t technically stolen it all, smowball, you HAVE stolen it (well, with the exception of the “consumables” which they provide for your convenience).

You cannot commit theft “negligently” (i.e. not on purpose). Your defence would be that you did not intend to permanently deprive the owner of them and you would have to prove that.
