Does anyone else remember a group called Rosetta stone around in the mid to late 70's. One or two members of the Bay City Rollers joined them. I am sure that they released a version of 'if paradise is half as nice' but can't find any trace of them any where these days

yup - a friend of mine (colin mckee) was in rosetta stone!

sorry kate - I also meant to ask what it is that you want to know about them?
You know that there were 3 brothers in the band? - damian, terry and colin? They always had a huge following in Japan. They still play round and about their hometown. Damians kids are also in a local band which is doing well - Acidtone.
what else do you need/want to know?

I remember them and didn't they used to have a member called Ian who was the BCR connection?

If my detective work is right Kate you are the same age as me and therefore a teenybopper at this time!

I have been looking for the track - if paradise is half as nice as i was obcessed with it when it came out but never got the single and i can't seem to find any of their stuff in the shops now.
